CIM

CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF MARKETING, UK (PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE IN MAKREITNG EXAMINATIONS)

ENTRY REUIREMENTS: To register for this qualification, you must meet at least on of the following criteria.

As a minimum, 2 ‘A’ levels are required or any general bachelors or masters degree or an equivalents such as:

  1. CIM Introductory Certificate (Level 2 or 3 versions will be accepted)
  2. NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Marketing (equivalent to NQF Level 3)
  3. NVQ/SVQ Level 4 in any other subject (UK) (equivalent to NQF Level 4 and above)
  4. International baccalaureate (equivalent to NQF Level 3 and above) OR
  5. Commercial experience in business and/or marketing so that prospective can successfully complete the level 4 entry test.

Business and/or Marketing experience in a support role would be advantageous but is not essential

NB: The Executive Director has the mandate to determine the Level of Entry

This programme consist of four  subjects with a duration of 5 months intensive.

  1. Marketing Essentials
  2. Marketing Environment
  3. Marketing Information and Research
  4. Stakeholder Marketing

CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF MAKREITNG (PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN MARKETING)

Ideal for Marketers who are concerned with managing the marketing process at the operational level as well as those who are looking to build on the knowledge gained at the certificate level with a future marketing management role in mind.

ENTRY CRITERIA: To register for this qualification, you must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  1. CIM Professional Certificate in Marketing/CIM Certificate in Marketing
  2. Any relevant Bachelor or Masters Degree
  3. Any relevant Higher National Diploma
  4. Other appropriate qualifications approved by CIM
  5. 3 years work experience in a marketing practitioner role

This programme consist of four  subjects with a duration of 5 months intensive.

  1. CIM advanced Certificate in Marketing/CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing
  2. Bachelor Masters Degree with sufficient syllabus coverage of the CIMG Professional Diploma in Marketing
  3. Six (6) years of Marketing Management work experience, three (3) of which should be a Senior Management level
  4. Other appropriate qualification approved by CIM

This programme consist of four  subjects with a duration of 5 months intensive.

  1. Marketing Planning
  2. Marketing Research and Information
  3. Marketing Communications
  4. Marketing Management in Practice

PROFESSIONAL POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN MARKETING (CIM, UK)

INTRODUCTION

  • INTRODUCTION

This course is intended for Senior Managers, Directors and those who wish to improve their personal effectiveness in Marketing Management

  • OBJECTIVE
    • To help Senior Managers and Directors who are experienced to obtain a professional qualification in Marketing
    • To enable participants upgrade their knowledge in the various strategies in marketing, such as:
  • Analysis and Evaluation
  • Strategic Marketing Decisions
  • Managing Marketing Performance
  • Strategic Marketing in Practice (Case Study)
    • To enable Senior Managers and Directors build upon their existing skills and bro broaden their strategic perspective in a way that is beneficial both to them and to the Organizations they work for
    • To enable Senior Managers and Directors who are bush during the weekdays to upgrade their skills during weekends and facilitate the development of a network of professionals from a cross-section of prominent organizations.

A condition of Group discussion, syndicate exercises and presentations, role pay as well as presentations formal lectures

  • Duration: 2nd weekend in February to May Ending for June Candidates and 2nd weekend in August to November Ending for December Candidates
  • Time: 9.00AM to 4.00PM (2nd & Last Saturday & Sunday of February to May Ending for June Candidates and for December Candidates 2nd & Last Saturday & Sunday of August to November Ending). NB: In May and November Meetings will be for all weekends

NB:      Final examinations external (UK) is first or second week in June and December.
